September 1 – 6: 10Th New York International Salsa Congress 2010

NEW YORK/U.S.A. - All Salseros and Salseras of the world are welcome to attend the 10Th edition of the New York Salsa Congress taking place from September 1 to 6, 2010 in New York, U.S.A. The 10Th birthday celebration will be the ultimate Salsa and Latin dance experience and this historic event in the international Salsa dance community is also a “Salsa dancer's dream come true”.



Hundreds of Latin dance and music fanatics from different origins, cultures, nationalities and social circles will all come together in New York to celebrate the 10Th anniversary of the New York International Salsa Congress, Dance & Latin Festival. The pre-parties have already started and full passes are nearly finished.

Workshops from World's Finest Instructors

Over-qualified international Salsa and Latin master instructors such as Eddie Torres “The Mambo King”, Griselle Ponce and Amanda Estilo from New York, U.S.A. join dozens of American and international Salsa celebrities teaching 45 Latin dance workshops ranging from Salsa, Afro Cuban, Mambo and Bachata to Cabaret, Latin Hustle and Belly Dance. The workshops will given at all dance levels.

Professional Latin Showcases & Salsa Dance Championships

This year's edition of the New York Salsa Congress has some of the best Latin dance showcases the world has to offer. International artists such as Leon Rose & Noemi Millon from London U.K. and Ismael Otero & Shani Tambor from New Jersey, U.S.A. are just two of nearly 150 dance couples and teams scheduled to showcase their most spectacular dance routines during these 6 nights of “Dance Addicts Delight”. All participants will also scream at their favorite dance couples competing – or they will compete themselves - at the 4th annual New York International Salsa Dance Championship.

Awesome Parties & El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico

The organizers of the New York Salsa Congress added a Bachata and a Hustle room as extras in order for them to provide a complete Latin and Dance experience to all attendees. The parties have top DJ's such as Salsa DJ's Ray Colon & Ernie Sanchez from New York, El Leguano from Belgium, Bachata DJ Lee “El Gringuito” from Washington DC and  Latin Hustle DJ Bobby Morales spinning behind the turn tables every night until four a.m. The congress has four world renowned bands performing. “Headliner” El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico will perform live on Sunday, September 5.
