World Remix Contest, also for Salsa Dance DJ's

The art of remixing international music hits in such a manner that they become mega hits in other sub cultures has been a very successful formula . Now, you have the opportunity to remix PATjE' s new Latin Pop song “La Quiero” (English: “I  Love Her” ), get promoted via Radio, Twitter and Facebook. Winning the World Remix Contest will also get you press exposure and promotion along the Latin artist PATjE!

Successful remixes such as the Salsa music versions of the famous Michael Jackson songs “Remember The Time”  (audio remix by DiegoSalserode183) and “You Rock My World” (by DJ Berna Jam) became instant hits on hundreds of Salsa dance floors around the world. PATjE partnered up with a number of digital radios, social media and TV to create the “World Remix Contest” for aspiring DJ's and Musicians. This is an excellent opportunity for the very talented DJ's who are aspiring to become great and only need the right stepping stone for their future career.

A jury panel comprising of LAtv, Agencing, and PATjE will vote for their top ten selection, and the chosen remixes will be featured on Agencing digital broadcasting radio stations during the showcase.  The winners of the first World Remix Contest will receive digital radio broadcasting and the final winner will be featured by PATjE. The creator of the number one “La Quireo Remix” will also receive press exposure and promotion along the artist.

The winners of the World Remix Contest will be announced around Midem in Cannes, France at the end of January, 2011.
PATjE believes in sharing and opening the demo with fellow musicians and mixers to produce a great mix or remix. He follows the path laid down by similar experiences. This contest gives music remix artists the opportunity of a lifetime to use the tools which PATjE and his associates mentioned above will give them in order to promote their own mixes through Twitter and Facebook. And the most popular artist chosen by the audience will also win a promotion package.

Guidelines
To accommodate remixing, the original demo version of song "La Quiero" is available online with Bass, Voice, Guitar and Drums. You can mix them in any way you like, either by adding your own beats and instrumentation, or just remixing the original parts. PATjE, Talents Media, Agencing and LAtv are looking for the Best Remix of the song. Preferably, they are looking for a Radio Friendly Remix (around 3:30 minutes) and a Club Remix version from 4 to 8 minutes.

It would be great if Salsa and Latin DJ's around the world would seize this opportunity to create their own ultimate Salsa or Latin House/Club “La Quiero Remixes” and get a promotional boost at the same time.
